NEW SOFTWARE OWNERS:
Owners of the Matheson FCE Software receive complimentary software support for 60 DAYS from date of purchase.
If Matheson IT support is contracted to perform the software install, software support will begin the day of install.
After that 60-day period, support is subject to per-incident charges unless prior arrangements with management (not IT support) has been approved.
FCE SOFTWARE INSTALLATION:
$100.00 if purchased at the time of the sale of the software. (one install event only)
$200.00 if not purchased at the time of sale or to re-install on another computer after the initial sale.
SUPPORT RATES:
Support tasks will be billed at $90.00 per hour and will incur a minimum one-hour charge for all events.
Labor charges outside of normal business hours will be at a rate of $135.00 per hour.
Normal business hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, and will gladly invoice you.
PLEASE NOTE:
Should it be determined that the issue the customer is experiencing is not related to the Matheson FCE 3.5 software program, you will be given the opportunity to purchase computer assistance through our contracted technical support team at ITSupport@roymatheson.com.
The most common issues with the FCE software tend to be the existence of viruses, malware, or system updates which may interfere with loading the software, running the software, or general computer operation. Support for these issues will be covered under the 60-day complimentary support period. Otherwise, any support will be charged according to our regular IT support rates shown above.
SQL SERVER UPDATE:
As of December 31, 2023, the SQL server that is used by Windows to insure security, has expired. All users of the FCE software will need to update their operating system to SQL 2012 so that it will operate properly and be HIPAA compliant. This update can be performed by any IT professional that is experienced in this arena.
If Matheson IT Support is engaged to perform this for the customer, it generally takes an hour to do on most PC systems. * Matheson IT Support will charge a flat rate of $100.00 for a standard update.
However, during the install, there may be other impediments (i.e., client installed firewalls, virus protection, or other programs) that arise beyond our control that could cause this update to take longer. Each system is different.
If the update involves an unusual amount of time, there could be additional charges. Please make sure this is discussed with the IT Department before agreeing to this update.
*IOS takes longer and is charged at the per hour rate and may require additional software not provided by Matheson.
