Awkward posture of the lower limbs includes repetitive or sustained squatting (knee flexion) and repetitive bending of the ankle (flexion to extension).

In Part A of “Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined” in the revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles, the rating for the kneeling component appears fifth in the first physical demand column under the vertical heading “Kn.”
