Policies for Matheson Training Events: Payment, Cancellation, Complaints, etc.
Payment
Full payment must be received 14 business days (2 full weeks) before the start of any course.
Cancellations
Cancellation by the Student: To receive a refund, you must cancel at least 30 business days before the start of the course. But if you do cancel less than 30 days in advance, don’t worry: you will receive full credit toward a future Matheson course.
Cancellation by the Provider: Matheson will contact you as soon as possible in the event a course is cancelled for any reason. You will be given full credit toward a future Matheson course.
ADAAA Compliance
No student may be denied access to, participation in or the benefits of, or discriminated against in any service, program, course, or facility used for training by Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC because of a student’s race, color, religious affiliation, national origin, ethnicity, age, or gender.
It is the policy of Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC that no otherwise qualified individual with a disability shall be denied access to or participation in any program, training, service, or activity offered by the company. We believe in the right of all students who register for training through Roy Matheson and Associates, Inc. to full and equal continuing education opportunity. Disability should not be the basis for exclusion from training programs.
All students are entitled to an accessible, accommodating, and supportive teaching and learning environment. This is a policy acknowledging that alternative accommodations may be necessary for qualified students with disabilities to fully participate in instructional programs. Policy acknowledges the company’s authority to train and the student’s right to request and receive “reasonable accommodation,” while recognizing accommodations are not to fundamentally alter the nature of the course or learning assessment and cannot provide the student with an unfair advantage.
Nondiscrimination
Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC shall not discriminate any course participant based on race, color, religious affiliation, national origin, ethnicity, age, or sex. The continuing education provider will ensure that participants are treated during course participation without regard to their race, color, religious affiliation, national origin, ethnicity, age, or sex by instructors and company representatives.
Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC shall not discriminate any course participant based upon an history, presence, or perceived presence of a disability. The continuing education provider will do its best to provide necessary accommodations for any participant that requires it, provided that the accommodation does not incur an undue hardship on the provider. In order to receive (or begin negotiations to receive) an accommodation for a disability, a participant must request said accommodation before course registration in order to allow the provider the opportunity to put said accommodation in place.
Complaint
If any participant in a Matheson course has a complaint to issue with the company as a result of any part of the course, they may present that issue in person or in writing (via letter or email) during the course to any instructor or company representative present. If the complaint was realized after the completion of the course, the participant may contact Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC via telephone, email, fax, the company website, or in letter format following the contact information provided below.

Disclosure
No instructors or employees receive any monetary or other incentive in the selling of equipment or software during, or as a result of participation in a course. Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC is the sole recipient of any revenue from the sale of FCE 3.5 software and Matheson Development, LLC (a proprietor affiliated, but separate of Matheson Education and Training Solutions, LLC) from the sale of any training products, regardless of association with a course.
